    Overview

This summer, your child can be a star while learning about professional theater! Participants may act, dance, sing, make costumes, design sets, and let their creativity shine. This session ends with a daytime and evening performance, and everyone has a role in each show.

In the Upper School, we find your passion and turn it into your craft. Classes in technical theater, Introduction to Acting, and Advanced Acting are offered as well as showcases like the Upper School Drama in the Fall and Musical in the Spring. The cast and crew are guided by our dedicated faculty, but when the curtain goes up, the shows are entirely student run.

Students will receive a DVD copy of the production and a CD of professional head shots taken over the course of the program. Previous musical performances have included, Little Mary Sunshine, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Once on This Island, Aladdin, and Cinderella.

Students in the Upper Program will learn about technical aspects of theater and students are responsible for every aspect of the show once the curtains go up!
