    Overview

Unlock the world of business at Boston University! We welcome all rising juniors and seniors to apply to our exciting new three-week business program. The Academic Immersion: Business track is offered in partnership with BU’s Questrom School of Business, a top 20 undergraduate business program.

Each morning, you will experience interactive lectures led by BU instructors that offer a deep dive into essential disciplines:

    • Marketing
    • Finance
    • Operations Management
    • Managing People, Organizations, and Stakeholders
    • Introduction to Quantitative Methods to Support Business Decision-Making

In the afternoons, you will work on case studies and take local field trips that bring learning to life. You will work in teams to design and carry out your own New Product Development (NPD) Business Plan under the supervision of your instructors.

To conclude the program, you will present your NPD Business Plan to fellow students, parents/guardians, select Questrom faculty, and other members of the BU community.

During the program and beyond the books, you will practice and develop key soft skills:

    • Team leadership
    • Business writing and PowerPoint presentation
    • Hands-on engagement with the New Product Development (NPD) process
    • Final presentation of NPD Business Plan to fellow students and selected Questrom faculty

Embrace campus life in BU dormitories, enjoy our dining halls, and discover Boston’s treasures – all in a safe, chaperoned environment.

There are plenty of social activities to make sure everyone becomes familiar with the BU campus, Boston, and each other! You can plan your own free time or participate in weekend group activities, or even mix it up and join students in our other programs for a variety of scheduled events.

At Boston University, we believe that business can be a powerful force for positive change in our world. Come join us and see how it is done!
