    Overview

Brigham Young University is offer two exciting writing camps for the summer of 2021!

The programs include the Young Authors Academy, open to high school students, as well as The Magic of Writing, open to middle school students.

The Young Authors Academy is a great opportunity for more advanced young authors who are serious about writing. Throughout the weeklong program, they will connect with nationally recognized authors, engage in peer review, take small-group writing courses, and learning from BYU English professors. Students will also have the chance to engage with like-minded students and make lots of friendships.

The Magic of Writing is a themed program where students are sorted into a family of wizards and compete with their own stories! This is a perfect opportunity for young authors interested in the genre of fantasy and have a competitive spirit!
