    Overview

Camp Conquest is a resident camp for children and adults with special needs and disabilities. We offer 2 weeks for children and 4 weeks for adult campers. Trained volunteer missionaries pick which camper to pair up with for the week.  Activities include horseback riding, canoeing, a zipline across the lake, petting zoo, fishing, parties, and much more.

Camp Conquest is a culture where every individual with a disability has purpose, value, and a place in the Kingdom of God. We offer camps serving children & adults, ages 8 – 65, with special needs, chronic illnesses, and disabilities. Campers come from all over North America since we don’t age campers out and we accept campers with all disabilities.

The primary objectives of Camp Conquest are to build friendships, increase confidence and self-esteem, improve social skills, foster independence, and provide an exciting and satisfying camp experience. This is achieved by providing a safe and nurturing environment, a mature, professional staff, the best in industry standard camper-to-counselor ratio (1:1), and a program designed to ensure success.

Our amazing volunteers, ages 13 - 65, come from all over the U.S.. Conquerers (ages 13 - 15) setup and breakdown activities, and support. Counselors (ages 15 - 30ish) are paired with a camper for the week. Cabin Parents (ages 30 - 65) are support for cabin groups. Camp Conquest would not be possible without the volunteers love and support. Every cabin group will include 4 campers, 4 counselors, and 2 cabin staff. All volunteer missionaries will receive all of the training needed before camper arrival. Our staff undergoes rigorous training before the volunteer missionaries and campers arrive, and we run nationwide background checks on everyone 18 and older.

We have 2 – 3 medical providers during each week of camp. They live on-site, administer all medications, and are available 24 hours a day. The nearest regional hospital is 9 miles away.

Camp personnel are available to meet volunteer missionaries arriving at Memphis International Airport and to ensure they get to their flights home at the end of camp. There is no extra charge for this service.
