    Overview

Camp Dudley's mission, timeless values, and tradition of fun are encapsulated in our motto, "The Other Fellow First." For over 128 years, our motto has been at the core of Camp Dudley's program, which focuses on four key areas: Athletics, the Arts, the Outdoors, and Spirituality for campers ages 10 to 14 for two to three and a half weeks of fun!

Camp Dudley was founded in 1885 by a YMCA volunteer named Sumner F. Dudley with a goal of getting boys out of the city and to enjoy a more balanced summer. It is a place that celebrates timeless traditional values, inspiring boys and young men to seek something higher than their own self-interest in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. The first two activity periods happen after inspection, followed by choice time and lunch. We have a rest period every day for a break in the action, then back to activities in the afternoon. There are three opportunities for swimming each day, as well as plenty of choice time to balance out the structured activity periods.
