    Overview

Camp Kinneret’s Camper in Training (CIT) program is available for campers entering 8th and 9th grades in the fall. This program allows older campers to experience increased responsibility and independence at camp while still enjoying a peer group of their own under the guidance of a veteran counselor.

This program is designed to develop leadership basics and professionalism. CITs are the oldest at camp—the group is coed, may be slightly larger than the other camp groups, has its own counselor, and offers the ideal mix of social fun and leadership skills. CITs spend two weeks learning leadership skills. They spend the remainder of camp assisting younger groups and receiving feedback from their counselor.
