    Overview

Get outdoors with Girl Scouts! Outdoor experiences give girls the opportunity to unplug, learn new skills, discover their sense of self, and test new-found independence in a safe, girl-led environment. With camp experiences packed full of Girl Scout fun and exciting activities from art and music to high adventure and STEM, there’s something waiting for every girl!

Girl Scouts of Northern California: Camp Rocks! has a summer camp program that’s right for every girl. Whether your girl visits Bothin in Marin County, Hidden Falls near Santa Cruz, or Sugar Pine in the Sierra Foothills, campers will experience a safe and supportive environment with many opportunities to discover new things, develop new skills, and of course, have fun!

    Volunteer Run Day Camps

Attending day camp can be an important part of the camp progression, helping campers to gain the confidence and emotional readiness to try sleepaway camp. Our volunteer-run camps offer girls enriching summer programs and quality camp experiences—just like our council-run camps. Many of the day camps are located across Northern California in areas like Alpine County, Humboldt County, and Pescadero at local community sites and parks.

    COUNCIL RUN RESIDENT CAMP

The next level in summer adventures for girls. The overnight experience away from home offers extended program opportunities, lasting friendships and enhances independent living skills. From the high Sierra Mountains to the Pacific Coast, there’s a resident camp program waiting for you!

BOTHIN- Hidden in the hills of Marin County, and one hour north of San Francisco, Bothin features dormitory style living and a speciality focus including programs in The Bothin Theater Company, gardening at the BOG (Bothin Organic Garden), exploring the best of the bay, as well as traditional favorites! Bothin features a static and dynamic ropes course that all campers (4th grade and up) enjoy during the summer, and other groups may rent during the school year. This property is available for rent during the school year.

CAMP HIDDEN FALLS - Surrounded by giant California Redwoods, Hidden Falls is a 90 acre gem of a camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Soquel. Hidden Falls features a central meadow for sports and games, a new archery range, an eco-pond to explore, and an amphitheater-style campfire circle with a stage. At this camp you'll experience a true outdoor experience camping in a tent, or under the stars in a hammock or hand-tied tree bed.

SUGAR PINE- An enchanting forest in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Sugar Pine features a western horseback riding program, an adventure tower (4th grade and up), aquatics, and outdoor living skills. Every camper gets to ride at least once while at camp, and everyone will love the blanket of stars while the campfire glows.
