    Overview

The Central Connecticut State University Pre-Collegiate and Access Services Department's mission is to provide a diverse population of first generation and low income students access into higher education by preparing them to meet high academic, personal, and social standards through the TRiO program's Educational Talent Search program for middle and high school students.

Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a program for students (grades 6-12) who are interested in pursuing a college education after completing high school. These students will have access to tutoring, mentoring, field trips, summer programs, and assistance with the college application process. No grade point average (GPA) is required for participation of this program.

CCSU’s TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) proudly serves middle and high school students in the Consolidated School District of New Britain. These students, known as our CCSU TRiO Scholars, have the potential to succeed in higher education and are identified as first-generation, low-income and/or students with an alternative ability.
