We currently offer a two year program for high school juniors and seniors called the Medical Career Collaborative. This a two-year program, requiring a commitment from selected students for both years (junior and senior year).
Current 10th graders are invited to apply and, if accepted, begin the program their junior year. They will gain experience in and exposure to the issues and careers in healthcare.
will be eligible for paid internships at Children's Hospital Colorado. Students are placed various departments around the hospital in areas such as Orthopedics, Radiology, Inpatient Units, Speech & Audiology, Emergency, the Newborn Center, and the Laboratory, to name just a few. Internships occur during one of three sessions, fall, spring and summer. Fall and spring sessions are 12 weeks and students work roughly 10 hours a week while the summer session is 6 weeks and students work 30 hours a week.
