    Overview

For almost 40 years, Clemson University has offered an academic summer experience for gifted middle and high school students. Is your rising 7th to 12th grader (up to the age of 17) exploring different college majors? Give them a sneak peek at what college life is all about, and different subjects they can explore, through a Summer Scholars course this summer! In addition to challenging courses, we provide opportunities for fun, friendship, and a true Clemson experience. Find out more!

A balanced schedule of educational, recreational, and cultural activities will help broaden your academic skills and develop your creative abilities. You will engage in exciting classes taught by Clemson faculty during the day and, in the evening, have the chance to go swimming or bowling, participate in a campus scavenger hunt, play a rousing game of ultimate frisbee or capture the flag, and visit special university facilities such as Fike Recreation Center, Bowman Field, the Student Union, Death Valley, and many more!

Every summer, the Summer Scholars program at Clemson University welcomes hundreds of campers who enjoy a one-week introduction to a variety of university learning options, while being immersed in our campus.

Opportunities are both online and in-person, depending on the subject! Be sure to check out our website to find out more!
