    Overview

    Code Galaxy’s online coding classes are the best way for kids from elementary to high school to learn computer skills that will set them up for success for the rest of their lives. From Scratch + Minecraft to Python Programming and Web Development, our coding camps for kids are the perfect way to spend time off school.

    Coding in Python, Ages 9 -15

    This course is designed for any student curious about the power of computers and technology. The course introduces the basics of Python programming language and computer science by programming a series of fun games and rewarding code challenges. In addition to Python syntax and computer science concepts, students also learn to think about problems logically and solve them systematically.

    Minecraft game Dev, Ages 7-13

    Minecraft is a 3D game about collecting, crafting, and building with blocks. Students will learn how to create items and code for the behavior of the items, to create a series of events with custom commands, and to make a collection of mods that depends on and interact with each other using blocks-based programming. Students can code their own blocks, items, structures and buildings in minecraft, create a series of interactive events to make some fun features.

    Creating and Publishing Roblox Games, Ages 8-14

    Roblox is a massive multiplayer online game creation platform for users to design and develop their own games as well as to play games created by others. Students will create (design and code) their own beautiful-looking Roblox games. Through programming Roblox games, they will be able to learn different computer science concepts such as events and methods.

    Young Coders: Games and Animations with Scratch, Ages 7-10

    Students will create their own games and animations with imagination and creativity, and let their friends and family play the games. Students will learn how to use Scratch (a block-based coding program with colors and characters) to create games, stories and animations. Students will build their coding foundation and explore the universe of coding.
