    Overview

    A program that allows you to become part of a local family, learning customs, culture, and language, while taking Spanish classes at the University of Leon Language School. This programs helps to enhance your language skills while building your resume and gaining a global perspective.

    The Cultural Immersion Language Program in Leon Includes: Pre-travel virtual program orientation 20 hours of Spanish language class per week at the University of Leon Possible 3 transferrable college credits per month! ? 3 local cultural excursions per month: Cathedral tour, San Isidro tour, San Marcos/MUSAC, Museo de Leon, or Casa Botines 2 regional cultural excursions per month: Astoria/Las Medusas, Cuevas de Valporquero, Salamanca, Valencia de Don Juan, Mountain of Leon, or Cantabria For students 18 and older, possible 2-day excursions to places like Pais Vasco and Galicia may be available for an extra cost Weekly group meetings with staff and check-ins Resume and career building classes Three meals a day with homestay family Meals and a private room will be provided by your host family in your homestay. This is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the culture, practice your language skills, and connect with locals.
