Debate Camp Canada provides training in public speaking and debating for students eager to improve their skills, confidence and ability with the spoken word. The goal is to inspire young people to become informed and articulate global citizens who can present ideas in a confident and convincing manner.  We welcome both experienced students, as well as those eager to develop these skills in preparation for higher learning.  Our 21 Day Program, suitable for Gr 9 - 11, shows off Canada's finest geographic vistas on both coasts, alongside cultural centres in Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.  Two of our 6 Day Overnight Camps, suitable for Gr 7 - 11 has bus service from the United States; West Coast from the Seattle-Victoria Ferry and our Quebec Camp with bus service from Hartford, CT and Deerfield, MA.  All camps ensure young thinkers are inspired, informed and well-practiced in speaking confidently about the important matters of our time. Program is designed and guided by certified teachers.  Workshops are conducted by some of North America's most accomplished university-level speakers.  Teaching ratio is 1:8.  Dorm accommodations are fully supervised; inclusive of on-campus security.   Full curriculum details, program philosophy, staff credentials and dates and locations for 2016 are all available on www.debatecamp.org
