    Overview

The Duxbury Bay Maritime School is a non-profit organization open to all. We serve students from all area towns. Choose from stand up paddleboarding (SUP) for ages 10+, SUP Yoga for ages 15+, or kayaking for ages 6-9. Find out more!

    Kayaking

    Age 6-9, 2hrs/Day, 5 days
Our child-sized kayaks are perfect for both experts and beginner kayakers! Each day will be a new adventure as participants learn how wind, tide, and currents affect where the class can kayak each day! Explore Duxbury Bay in a safe, fun way this summer and travel under the Bluefish River bridge, look for spider crabs on the flats, or play games at the beach. Kayakers can also partner this program with Marine Science offerings.

    SUP

    Age 10+, 2hrs/Day, 5 days
Our weeklong Junior Stand Up Paddleboarding program will provide participants with plenty of instruction, fun and exercise. Every day will be an adventure! Will you travel under the Bluefish River bridge? Check out sea creatures and plants up close? Play water games at the Shipyard Lane dock? Maybe all of the above! By the end of a full week, your kids will be confident enough on the boards to maybe show you a thing or two!

    SUP Yoga

    Ages 15+

Whether you are new to yoga or a Yogi, come enjoy your practice on Duxbury Bay. Challenge your typical practice by adding the stability challenge offered by the water element. Paddleboard instruction will provide you the skills you need for the short paddle to your practice. Each board will have an anchor to keep it in place from the tide and wind. Paddle back to DBMS in bliss. Namaste.
