    Overview

Summer camp at Echo Ranch is where faith and fun collide! At our Juneau camp location, we have camps for kids aged 7 to 18, with programs and activities specially designed for each age group. Oversight is provided by our team of summer staff — young adult volunteers from all over the country who have been highly screened and trained by our full-time staff.

Our theme for the first half of the summer will be an underwater theme called Deep, and our theme for the second half of the summer will be a travel theme called On Our Way!

    Colt Camp

A Monday through Thursday camp for ages 7-9, with continuous supervision and tons of fun! Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities from pedal carts to horses, mini golf to crafts, BB guns to swimming, and of course, the much-awaited Carnival at the end of the week!

    Bronco Camp

For ages 10-11, Bronco camp brings kids plenty more to explore! In this five-day camp, campers will get to chooses skills classes to take part in to learn skills like archery, basketball, fishing, survival, soccer, and more! They’ll also get to compete daily in Quiz Quest, Echo Ranch’s famous “game show” - and let’s not forget that Bronco campers are old enough to ride the zipline!

    Maverick Camp

This camp for ages 12-13 brings new levels of fun, with more free time, more activities, and later nights! Cabins enjoy some friendly competition in a weeklong contest, earning points through activities like a photo scavenger hunt, the always-hilarious skit night or lip sync, and a night game that will test their stealth and cleverness! It all culminates in Crud War, a giant food fight on our front beach!

    Senior High Camp

Our most exciting and packed weeks of the summer! This camp for ages 14-18 runs from Monday to Saturday morning. Campers will enjoy plenty of free time to hang out and make new friends, but also lots of games and activities created specially for them, like the highly anticipated night game, the end-of-week Banquet, and of course Paint War! These campers will also be invited to go deep with their counselors, reflect on their own spiritual lives, and learn more about the Bible in breakout sessions on topics like Doubt, Love & Lust, Identity, and Addictions.

    Horse Focus Camps

Our Horse Focus Camps combine all the fun activities and games of Maverick and Senior High camps with plenty of time dedicated to horses! A camper who signs up for the Horse Focus for their camp will be placed in a cabin with other Horse Focus campers, and her cabin will spend a few hours each day at the barn, learning to ride and care for horses. The rest of the day, she’ll still get to participate in all the main activities and chapel sessions with the rest of camp. Any level of riding experience is welcome, but a passion for horses is a must! Space is limited for these focus camps, so register soon to secure your spot!

    Haines Day Camp

Every July, we host a week of day camps at our second camp location in Haines for kids ages 5-14! From 9am to 3pm each day, campers will get to take part in field games, free time activities (including the zipline!), and chapel lessons and discussions, all led by some of our program staff and seasoned summer volunteers.
