    Overview

EF's Junior Program in Munich, Germany is specially designed for younger travelers, aged 13-15. Work towards fluency for 2-10 weeks this summer while exploring a new culture with friends from over 100 countries around the world.  Plan the summer adventure of a lifetime!

Munich’s fun-loving spirit — ”Gemütlichkeit”— gives this vibrant city a friendly atmosphere all year round, making it the perfect place to study German. From the antics of the Glockenspiel in Marienplatz, to picnicking with friends in the Englischer Garten, there’s always something to see and do on the historic streets of "München".

For over 50 years, our experienced staff has helped students have the adventure of a lifetime on their first independent trip abroad. From a US based Admissions Team dedicated to answering your questions to teachers and counselors committed to your comfort and fun – you’ll have our full support from before you depart until after you return home.

Students will make maximum progress with 20 fun and interactive language lessons per week. Classes focus on speaking and communicating clearly in everyday situations by building competency through conversation and blended learning.

Explore your destination with our activities and excursions. From cultural outings (BMW museum, hiking, city tours, cooking class), to weekend trips (Salzburg, Austria, Royal Castle Nymphenburg) – our activities coordinators plan a full schedule of events all so you can make the most of your time abroad. You can even go surfing on the river in the middle of the city!

Choose to stay with a screened localhost or with our resident advisors in the EF dorm. Wherever you choose, you'll start building language skills and an international network to last a lifetime. Return home with a course report and certificate to add to your academic portfolio.
