    Overview

Flying Cloud is a camp for boys and non-binary individuals, ages 11-14, interested in a rustic, off-the-grid summer of living in the woods. Campers and staff together run their own unplugged community. Flying Cloud is almost entirely powered by human hands and fosters appreciation for intentional simple living. Campers gather and cut firewood, hand pump water, cook meals, and harvest timber used to create cabins. Earth skills, crafts, trips, and adventures await campers. Find out more!

Campers learn earth skills including starting a fire, tracking animals in the woods, building a shelter with natural materials, stalking without making a sound, and gathering wild edibles. Materials from nature are used to construct handmade crafts. Musical jam sessions liven the mood. Campers also play non-competitive games and learn about camp traditions. All campers participate in day and extended, overnight trips.
