    Overview

The week is spent practicing new techniques, using different lures and baits all in search of “the big one”! During the week we’ll use these skills on Lake Christopher. Other exciting camp activities will be enjoyed throughout the week, and as one of our original conservation camp programs, campers may earn their Maine Boating Safety Certification during their stay with us. Find out more!

For one week, campers will spend their time learning and fishing along the banks of Lake Christopher. They will learn technique and gain plenty of experience fishing for bass, trout, and plenty of other freshwater species. Campers can also expect to expand their knowledge of ecology and water quality. Throughout their time there, campers are encouraged to practice new techniques and to use different types of baits and lures. There will also be designated time for other traditional camp activities such as swimming! And at the very end of the program, campers will even have the chance to earn their very own Maine Boating Safety Certificate!
