    Overview

Kansas State University is hosting the annual Flint Hills Publication Workshop for high school journalism students! We believe in the motto, “Work hard, play hard,” and apply that right into our daily schedule. Each day is loaded with intensive sessions and lessons and the nights are filled with fun entertainment options!

This workshop will offer the opportunity for students to connect and collaborate as they learn more about the world of journalism. They will attend sessions focusing on leadership, writing, and design. They can also expect to learn more about photography, broadcast, and social media. With the help of experienced faculty, students will learn how to efficiently communicate and present a message. In addition to intensive lessons, the students will have the opportunity to take advantage of amenities offered by Kansas State. Students will surely walk away from this program with more knowledge, experience, and friendships.
