This program encourages quality reading and writing. Participants strengthen their language arts and technology skills while taking part in motivating, thematic projects targeted towards their specific capabilities and learning styles. A variety of online resources, interactive SmartBoard lessons, and games support the reading done in class, and a different theme is explored each week. After Read, Write Compute, campers continue on to Day Camp to complete their day. Find out more!

This program is for grades 3-6.

Germantown Academy is situated upon 126 beautiful acres in Ft. Washington, PA. An extensive remodel to the campus occurred in 2010, which brought GA to the cutting-edge in classroom technology, athletic facilities (including three artificial turf fields), environmental awareness, and energy efficiency. The Wissahickon Creek runs directly through the campus, making us the only institution in the area to have such a wonderful natural resource available to us. Walking and biking trails through the woods, a ropes course including a zip-line, and a Green Roof, Academic Courtyard and Vegetable Gardens quench the communitys thirst for nature. The Nature Preserve, also engineered in 2010, is the focal point of the nature curriculum for our students and campers.
