    Overview

Hale Day Camp is our signature camp experience featuring traditional activities in four age-based divisions tailored to their developmental needs. Campers enjoy classic activities like swimming, boating, archery, arts and crafts, field games, and more.

Campers will be split into four age-based groups upon arrival to camp: Kindercamp, Lower Camp, Middle Camp, Teen Camp, and Camp Counselor in Training. Each group will participate in exciting, age-appropriate activities. For instance, some highlights of Kindercamp include a forest playground and swimming lessons in tranquil ponds.

Teen Camp affords pre-teens ages 11-13 years old more freedom and a heightened sense of adventure through electives, field games, and access to high ropes elements. Teen campers also embark on an overnight campout at Hale and a day trip to Nantasket Beach.

Our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program teaches teens ages 14 & 15 years old to be the role models who shape our community. CITs spend 4 weeks developing leadership skills. CITs participate in activities, learn about expectations, and then select a focus area—counseling, activities, or waterfront—and shadow staff members. As they lead routines and activities, CITs enjoy the benefits of Teen Camp (including BBQs, beach trips, and self-selected activities) as they reflect on their own learning and development.
