    Overview

The Hutton Junior Fisheries Biology Program is an 8-week, paid summer internship for rising high school senior/college freshmen, sponsored by the American Fisheries Society. Hutton Scholars are paired with local fisheries professionals for hands-on experience in marine or freshwater settings. Interns receive a stipend, submit reports, and gain valuable real-world skills in fisheries science. Open to students in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, or the Pacific Islands.
