    Overview

Get a taste of collegiate life this summer at the University of Washington! Our Seattle camps strike the perfect balance between STEM skill development and summer fun, allowing kids and teens to experience a week at one of the best teaching and research universities in the country. Your child will work alongside new friends and learn from expert tech mentors, while taking breaks in between to enjoy UW's outdoor activities!

Experience an iD Tech Academy at one of the world’s leading universities. Designed exclusively for teens ages 13-18, these two-week, overnight sessions are running June through August.

    Small Classes & Balanced Schedule

Small class sizes = big personalized learning. Teens spend time skill-building in next-gen labs and bonding with new friends while experiencing life on a college campus.

    100% USA-Based Instructors

Our instructors are recruited from top universities. But more importantly, they are mentors who understand teens, share their interests, and serve as real-life role models.

Exclusive Content From Elite Faculty & Industry Experts

Courses feature video insights, simulations, and technical demos. Teens interface with guest speakers, tour major companies, and more. (Varies by location.)

    A Resume-Boosting Project

Your teen will develop an impressive portfolio project to add to their college applications and resume.

    Intensive, cutting-edge courses

Standout college apps start with an iD Tech Academy. Teens will kick-start their dream career in coding, game dev, and more while getting immersed in a startup shop or simulated game studio.

From its Collegiate Gothic architecture to its prestigious reputation in medical, engineering, and scientific research, the University of Washington serves as an inspiring summer camp location to kids and teens. During outdoor activities and breaks between lab sessions, iD Tech students can experience college life, enjoying all this Seattle campus has to offer including Drumheller Fountain with views of Mount Ranier, ample green spaces, and more.

In addition to skill-building and friendships, each iD Tech camp offers students the valuable opportunity of exploring a prestigious university campus. At UW , this includes chowing down in Local Point alongside future tech disruptors, taking in campus landmarks like Drumheller Fountain (with views of Mount Ranier), and basking in the sunshine during outdoor activities and games across UW's ample green spaces. The entire experience gives students an exciting glimpse into their own bright future.
