Our Staff
We know the right instructor changes everything. Our staff empowers students with the most in-demand tech skills, while bringing our fun, inclusive camp culture to life.
Top university recruits and industry pros
Our selective hiring practices, honed for over 20 years, yield the most highly qualified, passionate instructors from tech companies and universities like Caltech and NYU.
All adults, no CITs, and thorough background checks
We adhere to a policy of no “Counselors in Training.” Instead, you’ll find fun-loving, well-paid, all-adult instructors. We take safety seriously. All staff members undergo extensive background and reference checks and are CPR & First-Aid Certified.
Trained in person
Once hired, each staff member attends Regional Staff Training. Via hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and in-depth educational sessions, they hone their teaching methods and get immersed in our core values.
Established in 1879, this private institution was originally founded as "The School of Elocution and Expression," with many prominent Bostonians seated on the board. Among them was Alexander Graham Bell, the Scottish engineer made famous for inventing the telephone. The Curry College campus spans over 130 acres and is situated near beautiful Blue Hills Reservation, just seven miles from downtown Boston. During outdoor activities and in between lab sessions, iD Tech students can take in all that this inspiring setting has to offer.
In addition to skill-building and friendships, each iD Tech camp offers students the valuable opportunity of exploring a prestigious university campus. At Curry College, this includes chowing down in dining halls alongside future tech disruptors, taking in campus landmarks like Curry College Student Center and The Hallways of Champions, and basking in the sunshine during outdoor activities and games across campus green spaces. The entire experience gives students an exciting glimpse into their own bright future.
