Our SF coding camps strike the perfect balance between STEM skill development and summer fun, allowing kids and teens to experience a week at California's most historic univerisities. Your child will work alongside new friends and learn from expert tech mentors, while taking breaks in between to enjoy San Francisco State's outdoor activities!

In our next-gen labs, music is playing. Collaboration takes place in small clusters. Tech rockstar instructors share their knowledge, helping you bring your creations to life. All adults, no CITs, and thorough background checks

We adhere to a policy of no “Counselors in Training.” Instead, you’ll find fun-loving, well-paid, all-adult instructors. We take safety seriously. All staff members undergo extensive background and reference checks.

Trained in person

Once hired, each staff member attends Regional Staff Training. Via hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and in-depth educational sessions, they hone their teaching methods and get immersed in our core values.

During outdoor activities and breaks between lab sessions, iD Tech students can enjoy all that this historic campus has to offer, from the park-like landscaping to the state-of-the-art facilities. Founded in 1899, SFSU now hosts over 28,000 students throughout the academic year. The campus spans 141 acres and is part of the 23-school California State University system. Located just 20 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport, and only 45 minutes from both the Oakland International Airport and San Jose International Airport, our SFSU camps are a convenient option for Bay Area students and out-of-state students.

In addition to skill-building and friendships, each iD Tech camp offers students the valuable opportunity of exploring a prestigious university campus. At San Francisco State University, this includes chowing down at City Eats alongside future tech disruptors, taking in campus landmarks like Burk Hall, and basking in the sunshine during outdoor activities and games across The Quad.
