    Our Staff

We know the right instructor changes everything. Our staff empowers students with the most in-demand tech skills, while bringing our fun, inclusive camp culture to life.

Top university recruits and industry pros

Our selective hiring practices, honed for over 20 years, yield the most highly qualified, passionate instructors from tech companies and universities like Caltech and NYU.

All adults, no CITs, and thorough background checks

We adhere to a policy of no “Counselors in Training.” Instead, you’ll find fun-loving, well-paid, all-adult instructors. We take safety seriously. All staff members undergo extensive background and reference checks.

    Trained in person

Once hired, each staff member attends Regional Staff Training. Via hands-on workshops, collaborative activities, and in-depth educational sessions, they hone their teaching methods and get immersed in our core values.

One of the most sought-after universities in California, UCLA is located in the residential neighborhood of Westwood/Bel Air in Los Angeles (approximately 12 miles from LAX and 15 minutes from Hollywood). iD Tech students often have the opportunity to explore local shops and theaters in Westwood Village where movie and television stars are sometimes sighted. UCLA has a world-renowned reputation in research and technology—and also boasts the best dining halls in the nation.

In addition to skill-building and friendships, each iD Tech camp offers students the valuable opportunity of exploring a prestigious university campus. At UCLA, this includes chowing down in the De Neve Commons alongside future tech disruptors, taking in campus landmarks like Murphy Sculpture Garden, and basking in the sunshine during outdoor activities and games across Dickson Court. The entire experience gives students an exciting glimpse into their own bright future.
