    Overview

In Ithaca College's residential pre-college summer program, high school students experience college life and college-level courses while living in a safe environment. The Summer College for High School Students has two program offerings, each with courses designed and reserved expressly for pre-college students. Find out more!

    One Week Session:

Only time for a week of college this summer? Attend one of our special one-week courses! No grades are awarded, but in a morning and afternoon session professors and students immerse themselves in their subject.

In the evenings, college students are available to assist with your work, but some evenings are set aside just for fun.

Students who successfully complete their course will receive a certificate of completion.

    Three Week Session:

The three-week summer college program is for talented students who have completed their sophomore or junior year in high school. Students who have just completed their senior year are also eligible.

Enroll in one course and earn two to four credits. Classes are taught by Ithaca College faculty. Classes meet in the morning, 9:30 to 11:30am and in the afternoon, 1:00 to 2:30pm. Four-credit classes run until 3:30pm.

Late afternoons and evenings are available for co-curricular, social, and recreational events on and off campus.
