    Overview

Get intensive training in improvisation and sketch comedy. We offer two 1-week camp options for middle and high school students. Dive into writing comedy sketches, develop your comic timing and prime yourself to set up and take down jokes in our Sketch Comedy Camp. Our Crash Course in Comedy offers intensive training in improvisation and sketch comedy. Either way you'll have a ton of fun making an audience laugh!

    Crash Course in Comedy

Learn to say ‘yes’ to what is offered and find the humor in everyday situations and bizarre ones, too. Act 1 of our show will feature sketch comedy from Monty PythonUpright Citizens Brigade, the Reduced Shakespeare Company and/or Saturday Night Live and original sketches. Act 2 will be our version of the popular TV show, Whose Line is it Anyway? There will be a performance at the end of the week.

    Sketch Comedy Camp

This camp offers you the opportunity to polish your skills as a sketch comedy writer and actor. As writers you will learn how to create comic situations and how to write for actors and as actors you will take your scenes and act them out with costumes and props. There will be a performance at the end of the week.
