    Overview

Good Horsemanship is paramount at Meadowbrook Stables. With a variety of summer programs to choose from, children will find something to meet their needs and prosper. Meadowbrook's summer horsemanship programs allow children to experience firsthand the benefits of riding and caring for animals.

All camps include mounted riding instruction and unmounted horsemanship instruction.

    Mini Camps

    Ages 6-9, Beginner through Walk-Trot

Younger campers may participate in a half-day program. With a ratio of four campers to every staff member, safety and quality instruction are top priorities. The curriculum is designed to introduce campers to the fundamentals of riding and horse care in a fun and safe environment.

Campers should choose either the AM or PM session and should not enroll in both as the sessions are designed for different campers from morning to afternoon. The camp curriculum repeats itself for the afternoon session, and we do not have staff available to watch campers during the hour break between sessions.

    Full Day Camps

Ages 10-13, Beginner through Fundamentals of Jumping

One-week sessions are offered throughout the summer for riders ages 10-13. Campers are grouped by skill level for their morning riding lessons. Afternoon activities and special events are based on unique weekly themes. Hands-on horse care, quality riding instruction, and games are part of the daily routine.
