    Overview

    Strengthen skills and explore what interests you at the Mercy High School Summer Program in Middletown, CT. Choose from a variety of workshops designed to challenge and engage young women, foster friendships, nurture creative expression, and develop a strong sense of community.

    Summer programs in the arts, academics, and athletics for students entering grades six through nine.

    Basketball - a weeklong camp designed to build essential playing skills while having fun and making friends.

    Higher Achievement Program (HAP) - rising seventh and eighth grade girls will enjoy creative programs, athletic opportunities and social activities while reviewing study strategies, classroom techniques, and the reading, language and math skills necessary for the Catholic High School Placement Test.

    Soccer - Campers will learn lessons on respect, integrity, responsibility, leadership, friendship and sportsmanship while engaging in team play, skill development, games and tournaments.

    Theater Arts Program (TAP) - Our coeducational theater arts program offers rising sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grade students an engaging and interactive theatrical experience that culminates with a theater performance.

    Volleyball - a weeklong camp designed to build essential playing skills while having fun and making friends.

    Junior Tigers Sports Camp - make new friends and build confidence in this weeklong camp while developing their skills in a variety of sports.

    In addition to the above camps, entering freshwomen are invited to take part in:

    Mercy Advantage Program (MAP) - three-week summer enrichment program offers a preview of life as a Mercy girl as well as an opportunity to meet their future classmates. Students will learn and practice academic strategies for a successful transition to their first year at Mercy High School.

    Technology Fundamentals is open to all students going into 9th through 12th grades in order to complete the required 1/2 credit course and get a headstart on this graduation requirement.

    Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to complete some required coursework through the Mercy Online program.
