    Discover Engineering at Missouri S&T’s Largest and Oldest Summer Camp

    At Missouri S&T’s premier summer camp, students dive into the world of engineering through dynamic demonstrations and hands-on activities across multiple disciplines. This immersive experience introduces campers to the broad spectrum of engineering fields while fostering curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

    Explore the Future of Engineering

    Throughout the camp, expert faculty and engineering professionals will provide insights into various disciplines, addressing the latest technological challenges and illustrating how engineering careers shape the world. Campers will gain firsthand experience, learning how different fields of study can impact their future aspirations.

    Camp Highlights

    • Explore Engineering
      • During "Intro" Camp, students will engage in hands-on activities, team design competitions, and interactive challenges led by Missouri S&T faculty. Campers will also form new friendships with like-minded, college-bound peers while experiencing campus life.
    • The Program
      • Morning Sessions: Campers will attend interactive lectures and demonstrations led by industry experts and faculty, gaining a comprehensive understanding of different engineering disciplines.
      • Afternoon Sessions: Hands-on lab experiences and department visits will allow campers to explore engineering concepts in a practical setting.
      • Evening Activities: Students will compete in friendly design challenges, socialize with Missouri S&T students, and participate in recreational activities with fellow campers.

    Daily Schedule

    • Morning – Engaging lectures and interactive demonstrations
    • Afternoon – Hands-on experiences in engineering departments, labs, and computer facilities
    • Evening – Social events, design competitions, and recreational activities

    Hands-On Learning

    Campers will have the opportunity to explore five academic engineering departments, participating in deep-dive, hands-on experiences tailored to their interests.

    On the first day, students will receive an overview of each engineering discipline and select the departments they wish to explore further. While we cannot guarantee all top choices, we strive to accommodate as many preferences as possible.
