Since National Geographic's earliest days, our explorers have gone to great lengths to discover the unknown, immerse themselves in extraordinary places, encounter new cultures, and investigate nature firsthand. The same philosophy applies to our unique student travel programs.
National Geographic offers summer travel programs that aim to inspire and educate high school and middle school students age 13 and older. We invite the next generation of explorers to set out into the field with our National Geographic Experts and knowledgeable Expeditions Leaders on one of our immersive trips, held in destinations across the globe – from Alaska to Australia and beyond.
Join a National Geographic Expert in the field, settle into a community and work alongside local people on collaborative service projects, learn photography lessons in the classroom and apply them in photogenic places, or base at a top university and delve into issues impacting our world. Much more than a tourist, you'll become a thoughtful explorer who is passionate about our world.
To make these unique trips possible, we have partnered with Putney Student Travel—a highly respected student travel organization that has offered quality student expeditions for more than 60 years.
