    Overview

At the NSLC on Film Production & Screenwriting, you’ll experience the art of cinematic storytelling as you collaborate with your artistic team to produce a short narrative film. Learn the filmmaking process through immersive workshops about screenplay formatting, character development, and the collaborative nature of film production. Interact with guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds that bring practical knowledge and real-world experiences to the program.

The Film Production & Screenwriting program takes place on the campus of UCLA, enabling students to meet and learn from professionals from throughout the Los Angeles film community. Visits to film studios and the Academy museum, as well as interactive leadership development workshops, round out the program activities.
