    Overview

The College of Textiles Summer Textile Exploration Program consists of five one-week sessions for rising high school seniors. Students will gain a blended experience of fashion, business, and the sciences. We believe in creating the brightest and most successful business leaders of the future. Find out more!

During the morning students participate in presentations on: degree programs in the Department of Textile Engineering Chemistry and Science, degree programs in the Department of Textile Apparel, Technology Management, and applying to NC State University. Throughout this experience, you will have opportunities to learn about internships, job opportunities, and schlarships available.

Each student has the opportunity to choose the project of his or her greatest interest, in which they will dedicate their afternoon to a project pertaining to one of the following that has been completed in the past.

By the end of the program, students will have gained foundational knowledge on the science of textile creation, marketing your creations to targeted consumers, and developing technologies that are evolving this rapidly growing industry.
