    Overview

Sponsored by the English Department within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and held on N.C. State University's campus, the Teen Writers' Workshop nurtures the creative spirit and teaches creative writing skills and techniques.

The summer afternoon workshop is intended for teens ages 14 to 19 who already have a demonstrated interest in writing fiction, poetry, plays, and creative nonfiction or who have an enthusiastic desire to learn more about these kinds of writing.
