    Overview

Every summer NWS offers an 8-week summer day camp for children ages 8-12. Located at the historic Northwestern Equestrian Facility, our summer day camp is a terrific experience for children who love horses!

Each day, campers will have a riding lesson where children are grouped by their riding level,, and learn something new about horses. The afternoons are filled with arts and crafts, games in Harper’s Meadow, barn chores and various activities to enrich campers’ horse knowledge and barn safety.

Our camp is the perfect fit for kids who have no previous horse experience, as well as those who are currently riding. Each session runs Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm. By the end of the week, it’s fun to see how much progress our campers have made in this concentrated riding opportunity!

To ensure the highest quality program, and to provide the best in personal attention, we accept a limited number of campers each week. Our program is staffed with full-time adult professionals and additional counselors for each week.
