    NYU Precollege offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credits and experience life as an NYU student. Through this immersive six-week summer program, students can choose from courses in more than 30 academic areas, engage with NYU’s renowned faculty, and live and learn alongside classmates from around the world. 

    NYU Precollege offers rising high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience academic and student life at New York University. This academically rigorous program places high school students in six-week, intensive, college-level courses with current NYU students and allows them to gain academic credit, which may be applied to a future degree.

    Students can choose from over 100 courses in more than 30 academic areas. With NYU Precollege, students can explore the archaeological history of New York City, begin to master a new language, practice the art of journalism, explore engineering and design, or delve into business and finance. 

    NYU Precollege is college. As an NYU Precollege student, you will experience directly what it’s like to be an NYU student, choosing your own courses, engaging with professors and classmates, and balancing your academic schedule with extracurricular activities. In six weeks you can discover new passions, sharpen your skills, and prepare for college success!

    Take courses such as Eating the World: Food Writing and Reporting; Style NY: Covering the Fashion Industry; and Introduction to Narrative Podcasting at the prestigious NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. You will learn from leading academics with extensive real-world reporting experience. 

    Interested in business? You can study with top faculty at NYU’s renowned Stern School of Business and start to master the fundamentals of accounting, finance, economics, marketing, and psychology through the Precollege Summer @ Stern program. 

    From computer science, calculus, and anthropology to applied psychology, French literature, and religious studies, students can explore their interests and jump-start their college career with NYU Precollege. Unlock your potential this summer!
