Introduction to research camp is a 3-day, 2-night overnight field camp that guides campers through the process of science in the natural world as they investigate a research topic in the field of ecology. Hosted at  Beal’s Point Campground, Folsom Lake. For middle and high school students. 

Join Headwaters Science Institute for our overnight science camps! Our staff and professional science mentors will guide campers through the process of science in the natural world as they investigate a research topic in the field of ecology. Work with a cohort of peers to create questions, develop a research project, collect and analyze data, and execute a professional presentation. Campers will also play games, have free time to relax and swim, and enjoy campfires in the evenings!
