    Overview

The Creative Writing and Humanities stream presents students ages 16-19 with the opportunity to experience undergraduate-level teaching in creative writing and humanities, embedding their creative endeavours within a broad context of past human achievement in the field of classics, literature and history. Students will experience campus life through our two-week residential program at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Students gain knowledge not only in the field they are going to study at university but also expand their horizons through our interdisciplinary program. Students have the freedom to craft a unique experience by choosing at least three disciplines from the strem's core modules of Creative Writing, Literature, History, and Classics. Students round out their studies by selecting one or two additional modules from streams including law, biology, international relations, philosophy and more.

Students who select the Creative Writing module will engage in creative writing workshops in prose and poetry, led by published authors.

Students of Oxbridge Summer Scholars engage in a variety of extracurricular activities drawing from the esteemed traditions of Oxford and Cambridge as well as opportunities to explore the local area. One weekend is dedicated to a trip to Oxford or Cambridge, allowing students to explore the rich traditions and academic excellence of both prestigious universities.
