Our introduction to this complex and competitive field allows students to gain a solid understanding of engineering principles.
Alongside academic study, you will also design, develop, and propose a technical solution to a grand challenge that will enhance your team building, project management, data visualization and presenting skills.
Our engineering programs are designed to give students a practical foundation in the science of engineering through fun design simulations that provide a grounding in mathematics and physics.
You’ll be staying in the historic colleges of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or at Yale University, to experience authentic undergraduate life. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about technology in the settings where ground-breaking discoveries have been made, and a taste of higher education to set you on a path to academic and career achievement. Through a variety of teaching methods, including interactive lectures, workshops, project-based group work and masterclasses, you’ll gain knowledge of your subject, additional insights and the opportunity to examine and grow your ambitions. Our packed engineering and technology summer school program is delivered by a world class faculty of experts and teachers who bring out the best in every individual. We encourage students to apply theoretical concepts and problem-solving methodologies to real-world challenges in areas such as alternative energy, computer science and emerging technologies. Through small class sizes and a range of different perspectives, we deliver a holistic learning and development experience. You’ll return home with new-found confidence alongside the insights you've gained.
Explore Engineering & Technology will help you learn how to think like an engineer. You'll apply your skills in the “Mission to Mars Design Challenge”, where you will collaborate with your peers to propose engineering and technology solutions to support the establishment of a colony on Mars.
- All Oxford Royale courses in Oxford cost £7,995 and in Cambridge and Yale £6,995. They are all residential. The cost includes:
