Film Academy: Oxford Through The Lens
Shoot, edit and screen your own short film on location at the University of Oxford. It's the location for several scenes in the Harry Potter films, so you'll have the chance to explore the sites where your favourite characters have trodden!
You will gain insights to film production and digital editing as you experience first-hand what it is like to be part of the creation of a film.
Our film program is designed for students who dream of a pathway to fame and fortune as a film maker.
You’ll be staying in the historic colleges of the University of Oxford to experience authentic undergraduate life. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about film production and techniques in the settings where blockbusters and arts films alike have been made, to set you on a path to a glittering career in film.
Through a variety of teaching methods, including interactive lectures, hands on workshops, project-based group work and masterclasses, you’ll gain knowledge of your subject, additional insights and the opportunity to examine and grow your ambitions.
Our packed film summer school program is delivered by a world class faculty of experts and teachers from the industry, who bring out the best in every individual. Through small class sizes and a range of different perspectives, we deliver a holistic learning and development experience. You’ll return home with new-found confidence alongside the insights you've gained.

All Oxford Royale courses in Oxford cost £7,995 and are residential. The cost includes:
