    Overview

    The Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State offers an exciting opportunity for students interested in film to participate in a weeklong summer camp! Students will have full access to state-of-the-art film studios and gain hands-on experience in film and video production. This camp offers a chance for students to pitch story ideas, write, direct, act, and edit. Students will learn the techniques necessary to bring their creative vision to the screen.

    Film Camp is open to any student entering grades 9-12 in the Fall. This camp is perfect for students interested in writing, filming, directing, and theater. Campers will stay in dorms on the University Park campus, enjoy meals in campus dining halls, and work on creative projects taught by Penn State faculty members in our state-of-the-art media center. 

    Cost and Session Information

    Registration costs $1,100. This fee covers instruction, housing, food, all program materials, field trips and activities. No payment is due at the time of application. Full payment is due within three weeks of receiving camp acceptance notification.
