TRAVEL WITH PURPOSE. People to People offers 8-31 day travel programs to Europe, Asia, Costa Rica, South Africa and the South Pacific. For over 60 years, People to People has been a trusted provider of immersive, educational travel programs for thousands of American students.

Go beyond the usual sightseeing tours to experience unique, immersive moments that truly connect you to the people, places and cities you visit.

We Offer Special Access - We provide our students "behind the scenes" access, whether it’s meeting with a former member of Parliament in London, or meeting with a survivor of a WWII concentration camp in Poland.

We Give Back - We believe in doing community service as a way of giving back to the people and places we visit, from volunteering at an orphanage in Costa Rica, to supporting sustainable projects in South Africa.

We Build Local Connections - We feel one of the most genuine and immersive ways to connect to a new culture is to experience the day-to-day life of locals, whether it’s participating in a homestay with a family in Spain or biking through a Dutch windmill farm with local students.

We are Adventurous - We give students the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and participate in local, team building activities, including kayaking alonsgside penguins in South Africa, to rappelling down the side a medieval castle in Italy to whitewater rafting in Scotland.

We Inspire Confidence - We help our students become more self-aware and independent, discover their own interests, and return home as global citizens. Many alumni say their PTP experience helped in their college admission process and with adapting to college life.

All-Inclusive Tuition - PTP tuition is all-inclusive, with no surprise add-ons or optional excursions for extra cost. Each program includes international flights, all daily meals, accommodations, entry fees for all activities, and a Delegation Manager who is with the group 24/7. Additions may include local U.S. airfare or optional upgraded insurance plans.

Safety First - We make safety our number one priority in every program. With more than 60 years of experience in student travel, and with offices and global partners around the world, we are proud of our commitment to keeping students safe. We set high expectations for our students’ behavior, and every day is fully planned and supervised, ending with a nightly curfew.

The Best Leaders - We set the highest standards and qualification requirements for our delegation leaders, including yearly background checks, annual trainings, and CPR and First Aid Certification. Many of our leaders are highly experienced, with more than 10 years of leading our student travel delegations.

Thorough Preparation - We know there are a lot of questions that come up before, during, and after travel. Every student traveler is assigned a Student Success Advisor to help prepare for the program, ensuring a positive, safe, and successful experience. We also offer monthly online preparation meetings for our students and parents leading up to their departure date.

High Quality Standards - We set very strict quality standards for every aspect of our student travel programs, from our hotels to group activities and excursions.

College Preparation - Our programs are an excellent opportunity to prepare for college, as students explore new interests, build self-confidence, and learn to be more independent. Many alumni say their PTP experience helped in their admission process and with adapting to college life.

Students have two ways to travel on a People to People International Student Travel Program:

National Delegations are for students coming from all over the United States, chaperoned by educators carefully selected by People to People. Joining a National Delegation is a great way to meet students from all over the country.

Local Delegations are for students from the same geographic area, chaperoned by educators from that area too. The educators select the programs for their local delegation, so every program may not be offered in your area.
