    Overview

    University of Miami's Public Forum program will teach high school students how to become successful debaters. Find out more!

    During this program, students will partake in a variety of instruction and practice debates. They will gain the ability to construct briefs, deliver persuasive messages, and research effectively. They can expect to receive feedback from experienced faculty as they experiment with debating a variety of topics and styles. Students will also be able to take advantage of office hours and recorded lectures should they want extra instruction. By the end of the program, students will be much stronger at competitive debate and gained lots of invaluable experience.
