    Overview

Join Repair the World’s Summer Teen Service Corps: a 3 or 6 week service-learning program tailored for rising 9th through 12th graders in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Immerse yourself in a community of passionate teens committed to justice. Delve into learning about social justice issues, volunteer at local non-profits, and explore connections between identity and service.

Repair the World mobilizes Jews and their communities to take action and pursue a just world. Teens of any or no faith are welcome to participate in the Teen Service Corps.

This year, the Teen Service Corps will focus on the history and current landscape of immigration justice in New York City, as well as exploring our own identities at the intersection of privilege and oppression.By joining the Teen Service Corps, you receive:

    • 45+ community service hours
    • Strong relationships with local service organizations
    • Cool speakers and field trips (transportation cost included!)
    • A close-knit community of teens from across NYC
    • Leadership opportunities for program alumni….and more!

If you are interested in scholarship opportunities, the application deadline is May 15th. If you would not like to be considered for a scholarship, you may submit your application until May 31st.

    1. APPLICATION: Fill out the free online application. The application is brief and will ask you for some personal information, and short answer questions or video responses.
    2. INTERVIEW:  If your application is selected, you will sign up for and have a 15-20 minute interview with a member of our team. All interviews will be conducted over Zoom.
    3. DECISION & PLACEMENT: Once you complete your interview, you will receive a notification if you have received an offer to join the Summer Teen Service Corps. If you choose to join us this summer,  you will then receive an interest form so that we can best match you with a service site.
