The Techniques of a Pro Mathematician camp at Rice University’s Tapia Center is a dynamic, week-long program designed for high school students who excel at math and are eager to sharpen their problem-solving and analytical skills. Led by expert instructors, students explore advanced mathematical concepts and develop techniques used by professionals. Students must have taken high school geometry class and be familiar with the definitions of sine, cosine and tangent by June 2025.
Techniques of a Pro Mathematician is offered during weeks 2 and 4 of Rice University's Tapia Camps (July 13-18 and July 20-25). Students will live on Rice's campus for 6 days/5 nights. The price of camp is all-inclusive of housing, dining, materials, instruction and a field trip. Campers will be taught by Rice University faculty, undergraduate students and graduate students.
