    Overview

Rivers offers Summer Academic Programs that give high school students a place to pursue opportunities to prepare them for the challenges of the coming academic year. Subjects include algebra, calculus, and science.

There are a myriad of opportunities available for summer academic enrichment programs for middle and high school students so why choose courses taught at Rivers?

The courses are all taught by veteran Rivers faculty members. They teach in the unique “Rivers way” – a philosophy unmatched at any other school or in any other program.

Aside from the small classes and low student-to-teacher ratio, the advantage of taking a summer course at Rivers is that the teacher will quickly learn everything they can about each student - their strengths and weaknesses, their learning styles, their interests in the world and subsequently use that knowledge to teach  the student more effectively and efficiently.

Rivers teachers care deeply about their students and are personally invested in the success of each of them. Students have access to their teachers via email and teachers always respond to a student’s inquiry within 24 hours. Whether students are taking on-site or online courses, teachers are available for extra help as needed by the student.
