    Overview

The ROAR Summer Academy is a rigorous, intensive two-week summer program for advanced high school students interested in learning about Python programming and introductory autonomous driving algorithms.

The goal of the academy is to support high school students in their exploration of  science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects as a career path and provide an in-depth, interactive overview of undergraduate engineering majors, programming, hardware and software design.

In the past three years, Berkeley ROAR Academy has strived to provide a rich and integrated learning ecosystem for high schools, colleges, and beyond. Our top students have participated in the ROAR AI Racing competition, been awarded ROAR Ambassadors fellowship, and even attended Indy Autonomous Challenge.Applications are now open, and we are also offering need-based financial aid.
