    Overview

At Rocky Ridge Music Summer Youth Programs, young musicians of all levels can find a program for them to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of the craft. In addition to its music education, Rocky Ridge offers community in an environment surrounded by nature where students can explore their passion and discover who they can grow to be.

Junior Artist Intensive: We offer two levels of our Junior Intensive. Level One is for musicians ages 10-15 years old, no audition is required to participate in this level. Level Two is for more advanced muscians ages 13-18 years old.

In this two-week summer music camp for advanced high school musicians, students improve their musical skills and develop their unique voices through chamber ensembles, orchestra, performance classes, private lessons, audition preparation classes, workshops, musician wellness activities, and nature-based explorations.

Jazz From A to Z: A one-week residential jazz camp for musicians ages 13-18 years-old, offering a deep dive into the performance, theory, and history of jazz. We welcome students of all levels, from beginners to experienced improvisers.

Nuestras Raíces: Música Mariachi: An exciting summer music camp for beginner to intermediate-level musicians ages 10-18 years-old presented in partnership with the Latino Cultural Arts Center that explores the musical cultures of the Americas. Expert faculty Maestros will guide students in the study of Mariachi within a supportive and inspirational environment, to broaden a student’s musical experience and knowledge.
