    Overview

The program aims to invite students of different backgrounds (psychology, legal studies, criminology and sociology), who are interested in the interrelatedness of crime, law and psychology and are willing to combine a challenging academic environment with the holiday excitement. And all this in the beautiful setting of the Prague.

Start your best summer in Europe with Prague Summer Schools. Prague Summer Schools are weeklong academic programs, organized annually by SCHOLA EMPIRICA, a Prague-based NGO. Apply until 10 of February and get 50 EUR OFF.

The aim of the program is to provide students with a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the role of psychological knowledge in the criminal justice system by listening to professors from the UK’s best universities and to engage in interactive debates with guest lectures, practitioners and fellow students. By participating in CLP, students will benefit not only from enhancing their intellectual resources, but also from sharing ideas with other students during the class discussions and various social events. Exposure to intercultural experience is also a key element of the program.

Many students participating in our program counted our summer schools towards their degrees, usually receiving 3-4 ECTS.  Students who wish to receive credits for attending a summer school needs to negotiate the amount of credits with their home university. We can provide those who are interested with a confirmation of completion of the program.

Our programs have full accreditation from the Czech Ministry of Education. If you wish to receive credits for attending a summer school, you need to negotiate the amount of credits with your university. In the past many students have counted our programs towards their degree.
